Diet Lifestyle

Fat burners are not meant to simply melt away the fat, they work best when combined with exercise. Being stimulant-based, this product is not recommended to be taken everyday. Although a stimulant, Ma Huang helps reduce the appetite while stimulating fat metabolism at the same time. The manufacturers claim that the product was designed not to affect sleep. However caffeine, which is one of the main ingredients of BetaLean HP, has a different effect on every individual. It should not be taken within four hours before bedtime which is the time period that the effects of caffeine wear off. People who are sensitive to caffeine would do better with a fat burner which has gentler stimulants.

Ingredients in Focus
BetaLean HP contains Naringin, a citrus flavanoid found in grapefruit. This is a natural fat-burner which may also have cholesterol-lowering effects. People taking any medications must practice caution when using the product as it can interfere with some digestive enzymes. When this happens, the body’s metabolism and breakdown of drugs may be affected increasing the potency of the medication.
Naringin extends the effects and levels of caffeine when these two ingredients are used together. Coleus Forskohlii Extract’s active ingredient is forskolin, which works well in increasing the metabolic rate, lipolysis, relaxation of the arteries, and even in inhibiting fat storage form occurring. Each serving of BetaLean HP contains 100 mg of alpha-lipoic acid, an antioxidant that increases the production of glutathione; the daily recommended amount of alpha-lipoic acid is 50-100mg. Higher doses can cause low blood sugar, nausea, or upset stomach.

Final Thoughts
Because of the amount of stimulants it has, BetaLean HP may work effectively by increasing the body’s metabolic rate. It is recommended that users should take two days off every week, and two weeks off every 12 weeks because of the possibility that the body can become numb due to the effect of the stimulant. If you are under any medication, it would be best to check with your doctor before taking BetaLean HP. The product retails at about $25 a bottle, a price that comes with some risks.
