| Review Summary |
 |
Obesity is a problem plaguing modern day society. Many solutions have been offered, some based on valid scientific research, some mere quackery. BioSlim is one weight loss system that markets itself as having been acclaimed for being a successful program.
It is often assumed that weight loss systems that fall under the ‘all natural’ category are safe and do not cause any harmful side effects. BioSlim is a product that belongs to this group and it makes certain claims regarding what it can do but does not have proven scientific studies to back up these claims. |

| How Bioslim Works: |
BioSlim is a very popular weight loss system. It is advertised as being a breakthrough in the medical world. The makers of this product use words such as ‘healthful’, ‘powerful’, and ‘effective’ to describe it.
Unfortunately, there is not a single scientific study that supports all these claims. All the things written about it appears to be mere advertising copy.
The BioSlim 2000 Ultra is the kit especially made for adults. It includes Ultra Accelerator, Ultra Slim Tone Formula, Vitamin Plus, Cookbook, Activity Planner, Video Guide, and Reference Manual. It sells at $89 each.
The Ultra Accelerator is used on the first 12 days of the program. It is supposed to speed up weight loss. However, it is not clear how this product would be able to do that.
After 12 days, one then starts on the Slim Tone Formula along with Vitamin Plus.
The Cookbook features recipes that are all part of the weight loss program. The Activity Planner is where information such as daily activities and calorie intake are written. It is designed to help dieters monitor their progress and make adjustments in either their food intake or activities in order to achieve weight loss.
The instructions say that once a dieter reaches his ideal weight, the BioSlim preparations would help him to maintain it. The kit even includes a comprehensive Video Guide. We highly recommend that you watch the video before starting on your weight loss program.
Another product included in the BioSlim kit is the doctor’s reference manual. This was apparently included to help users better understand what the product does from a medical standpoint.
BioSlim also has a kit for the youth which it claims to be free of harmful stimulants. It is very important not be easily swayed by what is written in the package of products as well as promotional materials that advertise these. Most of the time the information is biased or even outright lies. BioSlim makes so many claims but we remain doubtful about the veracity of these claims and the quality of this product.

| The Ingredients |
- Pyruvate -> This is the main ingredient of BioSlim. Based on our own clinical studies, Pyruvate actually helps burn fat. The problem is, it takes an enormously crazy amount of the substance to do it. Too much of Pyruvate causes stomach aches and head aches. The Pyruvate content in each bottle of Bioslim is not enough to help one lose weight.
- Green tea -> Green tea is a popular diet pill ingredient. It is known for its ability to oxidize fat. However, do not expect significant weight loss from green tea. You may be able to lose 1-2 pounds after one month if you consume pure green tea regularly but that's about it.
- Chromium -> This helps maintain blood sugar at its ideal level. It does not do anything do promote weight loss although it might be useful for people with above normal sugar levels

|
| Bottomline |
| The main problem with BioSlim is that it does not have scientific evidence to support all its claims. When we tested it, the product failed to deliver. The ingredients themselves are actually fine, but the formulation perhaps is faulty. Its effectiveness remains in doubt. At most, one could probably only lose 3-4 pounds a month with BioSlim. |
