Review Summary
DermFX™ is another diet product that comes in the form of a patch. Such products are reported as not being as effective as capsules although they make things easier for dieters who have difficulty remembering to take their supplements regularly. The overall design of this product involves a change in lifestyle as we shall see later.
In a market saturated by tablet-based product, DermFX™ offers a different twist. |

Ingredients at a Glance
DermFX™ contains Bladderwrack, Garcinia Cambogia and Guarana.
In the early 1990s diet patches were pulled out of the market by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) due to their ineffectiveness as diet products. Today they seem to be making a comeback.
*Garcinia Cambogia is a traditional Indian remedy for intestinal parasites, edema, constipation, and delayed menstruation. It is also useful for bowel complaints and rheumatism. This herbal ingredient is used in many dietary supplements.
*Guarana is derived from the seeds of a Brazilian tree of the same name. It works by stimulating the nervous system and is used in many herbal weight loss supplements. In certain cultures guarana is used mainly as a treatment for bowel problems.

Diet Lifestyle
Modern formulations must use active ingredients that are effective and consistent. We think it is good that DermFX™ contains Bladderwrack which is a true appetite suppressant that has been proven to be effective. The effectiveness of a product has a lot to do with how the formula is actually delivered into the system. Taking in the correct dosage is important and with capsules this is guaranteed. DermFX™ attempts to do the same thing with its patch format.

Final Thoughts
DermFX is probably not the best choice for a diet product. It is expensive and inconvenient to use. There are many other products that can offer so much more. The DermFX™ approach requires a dramatic change in lifestyle with the patches to be worn everyday and the diet and exercise program which when followed, according to the website, would boost the effectiveness of the patches.
We contacted the makers of DermFX™ to verify their claim of immediate results. The advice they gave was to wear the patch for at least 90 days in order to get the best results. To a consumer this would mean forking out $94.26 just to find out if really works.
