Review Summary
EXPonline™ is an online herbal health food store which offers a wide range of products from diet supplements to sexual enhancers to anti-depressants and pain relievers. The website is informative and crisply designed. However, we do not think the product line is completely unique as the website fails to point out what makes it different from the other herbal line of supplements available on the market.
Let us take a closer look at EXPonline™ to find out whether its products are helpful and of good quality. A cursory look at the website gives us an impression that the products may be of lesser value than other supplements. The product descriptions strike us as having an impersonal and clinical tone

Concept
The EXP concept is rather unclear. Its vague mission statement does not clarify anything for the consumer. It is also hard to determine whether it is a retailer’s site or if it belongs to the product manufacturer. There are a lot of companies which replace the labels on industry standard products and make them appear as having been developed in their own laboratories.
EXPonline™ seems to target the more senior consumers. A middle-aged couple is featured on its front page and products for joint pain and erectile dysfunction are featured. However, the fact that it carries a breast enhancement product Erbia, has caused some confusion on our part. We cannot pinpoint exactly the target market of EXPonline™. The fact that the company is not able to identify its audience leaves us at a loss. We do not know what to make of the website.

Website
The EXPonline™ website is user-friendly and the product descriptions are comprehensive. Each product features has a thorough product description, a scientific breakdown of the product, a list of ingredients, and an FAQ. We are glad to see a website which contained product information, however though this one appears to look informative, it fails to provide consumers with pertinent information.
The impersonal and rather drab content turned us off—pictures of doctors in lab coats and the use of medical terminology in the product descriptions. It was hard to determine the type of people who would appreciate the website. For us the experience was quite disorienting.

Final Thoughts
The EXPonline™ website is not such a bad one, it just seems like it lacks a tight concept to hold it together. It is user-friendly and some of the products being offered look fine as well. Unfortunately, it seems like there had not been much work done on the marketing and promotional aspect of the product line that the website fails to show sets its products apart from the other herbal products on the market.
We are also unsure about which target market the website is catering to. Is it for elders suffering from erectile dysfunction and joint pain? Young women who want to enhance their breasts? Then there is the mediocre manner in which the site is presented which lacks personality and at the same time attempts to sound too professional. We would much rather direct consumers to other sites that offer similar supplements.
There is no lack of websites that have more color and personality, and at the same time offer quality products which contain safe, effective, and all-natural weight loss ingredients such as Hoodia and Advantra-Z.
